30 Day Colouring Challenge

I have been participating in the 30 Day Colouring Challenge    over on Kathy Racoosin's site the Daily Marker.  If you don't know who Kathy is and you love to colour then you need to check out her site, she is amazing!

This is her fourth challenge and the first time I have participated.  The idea is that you colour something everyday.  You don't need to make a card or a project, just colour!  I am proud to say I have managed a little everyday.  Getting it posted is a bit harder and this is actually from yesterday's post where Stamping Bella was featured.

This is make a wish Hoppy Poppy and I cut her out wth the We R Memory Keepers Instagram line- Albums made easy.  Sorry guys I got this off Peachy Cheap a daily deal site so don't know where you can get it.  Isn't she adorable! Just look at those little puckered cheeks!  I can't stand it!

Let me know if you are participating in the challenge and leave your blog address so I can check out your works of art!

Happy Colouring!

Sharon

Online Card Classes - Watercolour for Card Makers Day 2

Hi Guys,

Second post for me today but it is the last day to submit our attempts at Online Card Classes

Day 2 was about using your brush and creating flowers.  I have to say it was a lot of fun, very freeing and while my attempts are not great, I think they do look like flowers.

These are 2 different panels I made to be used on cards

This one was an attempt at a composition, I need to add more to it but this is how far I am with it so far

Super fun class, I highly recommend it!  Don't be critical of yourself and use those creations Dawn teaches you to paint!

If you have taken any or plan to take the course, leave a comment below and tell me which ones you have taken or are going to sign up for.

Thanks for hanging out with me!\\

Online Card Classes - Watercolour for Card Makers

Hi Everyone,

I have been taking another class over at Online Card Classes.  This one was watercolour for Card Makers: Intermediate and Wow it has been great; to date it is the best class I have taken!  It was taught by Dawn Woleslagle who is an amazing water colour artist!  Anyway you can sign up any time, it is no longer live but it is self paced.  Day One had us practicing repetitive blending of colours.  I had no pears, as Dawn used in class so traced my balloon dies and water coloured them.  Neither are great, but hey you gotta start somewhere right!

Anyway here is my first attempt!

Attempt 2 was a little better

Here they are together, I feel like I definitely improved in the second image

I will do a second post directly following this one with day 2...Flowers!

Thanks for stopping by!
